Welcome to the St. Paul United Methodist Church website! We’re glad you found us, and we invite you to take a few moments and explore the ministry of our unique faith community.
As United Methodists, we are grounded in the grace of God, which claims us and loves us as we are and empowers us to be changed into all that God intends for us to be. We are rooted in the scriptural call to become followers of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and to invite others to experience the love of Jesus Christ. We do this through worship, study, and through many fellowship and mission opportunities.
Please accept our invitation to join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 10:00am and Worship Service at 11:00am. Check out the calendar on the site and join us for the various events at St. Paul UMC. Feel free to call or email with questions! We want to get to know you and hope that you will find a place to grow in your walk with God and to belong in a community of grace and love.
Serving Christ from the Church on the Corner.
St. Paul United Methodist Church, as a Christian community, will serve Christ by…
Angel Tree There is an angel tree in the back of the sanctuary for gifts for children in need. Please pick a name from the tree on Sunday, Dec. 4 and bring your wrapped gifts to the fellowship hall by Sunday, Dec. 11th as gifts will be delivered on Dec. 12. If you have any questions or can help deliver gifts, please call the office at 803-874-2166. Thank you!
Bring your favorite Christmas dish (meat, casseroles, side dish or dessert) as we celebrate the Christmas season together, after the church service on Sun., Dec. 11.
On December 21st, we will have a "longest night" service in the sanctuary at 6pm, followed by a pot luck supper in the fellowship hall at 6:30. This service is for everyone, but may be especially meaningful to folks who struggle a little bit during this season where there is a lot of pressure to be merry and bright. We will have communion, prayer, music, and acknowledge that even on the longest, darkest, night of the year, the light of Christ still shines in our lives.
Please advise the Webmaster, Gene Walter, or the Church Office of any desired postings or updates to the website.
